Christmas Whole Free Range Cockerel
Cockerel is a great alternative to turkey because the meat is darker and richer and the bird not quite so massive or prone to drying out. It’s a classic Christmas dinner in parts of France and would be the perfect compromise for a family divided into turkey lovers and haters.
Weight options for Turkeys, Turkey Crowns, Geese, Ducks and Cockerels refer to the range of weight the birds can be. For example, “5kg” means the bird will weigh between 5-5.99kg.
